The sextant coordinates for the entrances are:

Entrance1: 58o 16’S, 5o 1’E, Entrance2: 62o 8’S, 3o 44’W

02. Are there any rules concerning the dungeon?

Yes. There are the following restrictions which apply inside Khaldun dungeon:

03. Citizens of the dungeon

There is a big amount of undead monsters. Though someone could say the best weapons are silver-weapons it is maybe not wise to bring silver-weapons to Felucca. Many player-killers at the dungeon-entrace are eager to get their fingers on that weapon-type.

03.1. NPCs (one name)

These NPCs look like brigands. They carry strange colored weapons and have a greenish skin. They are somewhat tougher than similiarly equipped NPC's. Additionally they are undead (maybe this is the causes for the greenish skin *g*) and take double damage from silver weapons. They can be provoked. They use all weapons including bows and crossbows. The loot contains about 90gp, clothes and weapons. Nothing magical.

03.2. NPCs (full name)

There are four different types of these NPCs: an archer, a fencer, a mage and a swordsman. All of these NPCs are much stronger then the NPCs mentioned in 03.1.. Like the smaller cousins are they undead and are double affected by silver weapons. They can be provoked. The loot contains of some gold and a magic item (the same weapon-class like the NPC itself - e.g. mage/reagents, archer/arrows, ..). A special loot is a NPC-book - but this is very seldom.

03.3. Shadow Fiend

Looks like a pure black water elemental. Dies after a small amount of damage. Has no loot.

03.4. Spectral armor

When you meet them you will see the following: a flying chain coif, buckler and scimitar. They attack with the scimitar and hit very often but they own no magical attack. They count as undead and take double damage from silver weapons like all other undeads. They can bee provoked. The loot consists of two items and one is per definition a magical sword of type 1-4.

03.5. Zealot

These NPCs are a new type of monster in UO. They are a bit stronger then human players, are not provokable, exist in two types (fighter, mage) and have no loot. But they explode (no damage to the player) and two skeletons spawn (bone knights or bone mages) immediately. This monsters keep the treasure (very much gold 1400+ and some magic items; the mage carries reagents).

03.6. Ancient Lich

Ancient Lich Lords are stronger and deadlier then normal lich lords. A big group of players is necessary to kill this monster-type. Four named Ancient Lich Lords have been reported: Alomjin the Foreseeing Eye, Baratoz Keeper of the Pit, Melial The Hand of Fate, Keltivel the Lorekeeper. This monsters are undead (what a surprise), take enhanced damage from silver weapons like all undead, are not provokable and carry magic items and some loot.

03.7. Revenants

These are the protectors of innocent and appear whenever a player is killed by another player. They are weaker then town-guards (this means they could be slained), very fast and very agile. Whenever they appear, the first target is the player-killer and all people who join the battle.

03.8. Harrower

In the bottom corner of the dungeon is a large pit of blood. The domecil of a kraken-like monster called the 'Tentacle of the Harrower'. It attacks magical (seems to have an infinite pool of mana; favorite attacks are flamestrikes and protects itself with reflection; looks like a red kraken; is not able to move out of its dwelling; sucks healthpoints from players and adds it to the own life-points). This seems to be the most hardest monster in UO nowadays. Its loot is a huge amount of gold and magic items - but the problem is to get a grip on the loot because of the many players who are needed to defeat this monster-type. Additionally you get a 'huge amount of fame and karma'.

04. Secret passages

05. Documents

Some NPCs drop books and notebooks which could not be bought a the provisioner. We try to collect a list of titles.

06. Game in game

One of the secret rooms in Khaldun contains a special treasure-box. It could be opened by solving a riddle - much like mastermind. You will find in the box a notable loot.
